Stoup Brewing was jam packed for the Seattle Chapter's first annual Winter Swell Bash. People came to enjoy a night of great beer, PNW surf culture, a raffle, and some local surf art. Thanks to all who attended, donated, and supported the chapter and their effort to grow their urban runoff campaign.
The event formally kicked off at 6pm with a few locals already in the establishment enjoying their local flavor. El Camion was out front selling their famous food and filing the stomachs of the happy hour event goers and kept it going through the evening. The chapter also popped in the first of a few surf flicks and started selling raffle tickets for the surf board and general raffle. Todd Fisher was there mixing and mingling with the crowd getting things amped up and helping create a real sense of culture and community at the event. Then, our very own Tamara Kelly brought some live music and good rhymes. Thanks to Steve at Audio Media in Bothel for hooking up the PA system for us that evening. The evening slowly came to a close when the lucky recipient of the Rosen board was plucked from the raffle to his thrill and to the chagrin of the unlucky 99 people who didn't win but who still left in good spirits. The chapter, attendees, and those involved, had a great time and helped generate some funds for their urban runoff programs with hopes that we can do this event again next year.
Lastly, we couldn't have pulled off the event without our gracious sponsors and support from various friends and partners so heres a few pictures of people and businesses who helped out! Thanks to those below and to Rack N Road, Urban Surf, Wavehounds, and others for your continued support of the Seattle Chapter.
