Seattle Chapter

From writing letters to senators, being the face of Surfrider at an event, finding raffle items for fundraisers, to teaching kids to surf with Warm Current we have a volunteer opportunity that will fit you.

We are always looking for people willing to stand under our signature blue tent and talk to the public at events like stand up paddle races and beach volleyball competitions. The chapter provides all the materials- table, tent, and flyers, we just need your energy and enthusiasm for clean beaches so come hang out with us, summer is our busiest time of year!

What do I do next?

#1 Put us on your radar: On our main page, sign up for the monthly newsletter, and check your spam filter.

#2 Find out what we’re all about: Check the Facebook page for upcoming events and RSVP or follow directions for the event’s point of contact.

#3 Dig deeper: Attend a chapter meeting (put the 3rd Tuesday of the month on your calendar for that meeting) and figure out how you can best use your skills and interests!

#4 Fully stoked: If you’d like to volunteer your time or skills in a specific capacity or make a donation, please reach out to the volunteer coordinator and email the chapter.
