After taking a breather for the holidays we are back in action next Tuesday for our monthly chapter meeting. We will be at the familiar spot of Zeeks Pizza in Greenlake and starting at 6:45. Lots of things to discuss including: Climate Campaign sign-on letter with guest speaker Alex Epstein from Climate Solutions, our Hold On To Your Butts program that just got a new canister up, to our February 26th chapter party happening at Stoup Brewery. Come hang, have a slice of pizza, and find out whats going on in Seattle and on beaches throughout the state!
While completing her master's degree in Sustainable Development & Conservation Biology from the University of Maryland, Liz taught sustainability to undergraduate students while also volunteering as a docent at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum’s Ocean Hall. As Surfrider's Washington and Alaska Regional Manager, she supports the organization's five Washington chapters, three BC chapters, and Kenai Peninsula Chapter in their amazing work.
