Hold On To Your Butt campaign- July update

Our campaign to reduce cigarette litter is really getting going! Did you know cigarette butts are plastic and recyclable (if sent to TerraCycle)? We know all the littered butts are a problem on Seattle beaches and we hope you will get involved to help us provide smokers with a solution to disposing of cigarette litter. The HOTYB committee is working with Seattle Parks to place a few ash cans at Alki Beach and develop outreach materials. Got an idea to help? Get involved! Contact HOTYB@seattlesurfrider.org
