In just a few weeks The Snowrider Project will be having it’s 12th annual All Mountain Cleanup at The Summit at Snoqualmie. The skinny is the cleanup will be on Saturday June 29th from 10-2 with people meeting in the main parking lot of Alpental by the pedestrian bridge. International Surfing Day (ISD) was founded so that surfers, surf enthusiasts, and those who love spending time at their favorite beach enjoying their favorite board sport can come together to celebrate their passion. The Seattle Chapter will be celebrating on Wednesday June 19th from 5-9 at Urban Surf. Come celebrate with us and enjoy a Stand-up Paddle Board demo, a race across Lake Union, and of course food and drink. All are welcome and we will be on hand to discuss chapter activities and our love for oceans waves and beaches.
The Seattle Chapter monthly meeting will be this Wednesday, May 15th at 6:45 at the Kangaroo and Kiwi. Summer activities are picking up so come find out all the fun thats on the horizon and not to mention, conversation about the Clean Water Classic Surf Competition happening this weekend in Westport. Following the meeting the Chapter will be having another Surfrider themed trivia night, so stick around at the Kangaroo and Kiwi. Plenty of fun to be had so pay us a visit this Wednesday!
We are participating in pub trivia at Shultzy’s located at 4114 University Way NE at 8 pm Tuesday the 30th! Please come out and enjoy a pint while answering ocean questions and if you know your stuff maybe a Surfrider prize or 2 could be yours!
Tuesday night at 6:45 we will be having our monthly meeting at Kona Kitchen located at 8501 5th Avenue NE. We will be discussing the upcoming Washington Coastal Cleanup, the Clean Water Classic, Whole Foods contribution, along with the usual casual conversation. Stop on by!
Surfrider volunteers came out dressed to impressed at Summit Central to raise some money for the local Snowrider Project. Over 1k was raised so we can continue to keep it clean upstream.
